Health Avengers. Warriors. Fellow Game Changers.
Practitioners we know, love and trust, and the stories behind them.
I’m Dr. Sean Smitham, Ph.D. I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Western Michigan University. I’ve been in private practice in Spokane, WA since I moved here in 2007. I grew up in Butte, MT, completed my undergraduate studies in Bozeman, MT and attended graduate school in Kalamazoo, MI. I completed a pre-doctoral internship at Girls and Boys Town in Omaha, NE (the Nation’s premier residential treatment center for at risk children and their families). I stayed on to complete a two-year post-doctoral residency in the Behavioral Pediatrics and Family Services Clinic at Girls and Boys Town before returning to the mountain west.
I count myself truly blessed to have friends who are like family, and family I consider my closest friends. I enjoy jazz, blues, books, bookstores, wine, beer, ultimate frisbee, and spending time with family and friends. Mostly, I’m committed to living a rich life full of energy and vitality. And I’m committed to helping others do the same.
